6. Our Sites and cookies
We also collect data through our use of ‘cookies’, 'beacons' and other internet technologies.
Cookies are small data files which are stored on your device’s browser. Cookies are stored in order for your internet browser to navigate a website. Cookies will not identify you, but they do identify your internet service provider, browser type and browsing habits.
A web beacon is a technique used on web pages and emails to unobtrusively check that a user has accessed some content.
We will not use cookies or beacons to collect your identifying PI. They may collect statistical information about your visit to our Website or App (such as the pages you visit on the Website) in order to remember your preferences and allow you to navigate the Website or App more easily.
The default setting of most internet browsers is to accept cookies automatically, but you can choose whether to allow cookies through your browser settings. Please note that if you deactivate your cookies, you may have difficulty accessing or using our Website and App.
7. Blocking Targeted Advertising Cookies
Under several state laws, you have the right to opt out of the use of your browsing history on our Website and App for the purpose of online behavioral advertising (“OBA”). OBA is the targeting of advertising to you based on your online behavior across websites over time. It does not include “retargeting,” which is when we cause you to see ads for our service after you have seen one of our ads or visited our Website.
8. Global Privacy Control (GPC)
GPC is a browser setting that allows users to automatically send opt-out signals to sites indicating that they do not want their data sold or shared for targeting advertising. We honor GPC settings.
9. Targeted Advertising Opt-Out Right on Our Sites
You may also exercise your opt-out right by clicking on the opt-out choice when you see our cookie banner notice on our Site.
10. Industry Group Opt-Out Tools
If you prefer to not receive targeted advertising on any websites based on your visits to websites in addition to ours, you can opt out of some network advertising programs that use your information. These network advertising programs may allow you to view and manage the interest categories they have compiled from your online browsing activities. These interest categories help determine the types of targeted advertisements you may receive. To find out more, look for icons or other information displayed in the ads. To opt out of receiving interest-based advertising from third parties, click on both of the following links:
- www.aboutads.info/choicesDo Not Share or Sell
11. Do-Not Track (DNT)
DNT is a privacy preference that users can set in some web browsers, allowing users to opt out of all tracking (not just OBA) by websites and online services. At the present time, the World Wide Web Consortium, or W3C, has not yet established universal standards for recognizable DNT signals, and therefore we and our Website and App do not recognize DNT. You can use the GPC instead.
12. Security Information
We use industry standard encryption technologies, such as 2048-bit SSL Secure Sockets Layer with TLS Encryption, when transferring, and receiving, and storing PI. However, no commercial method of information transfer over the Internet or electronic data storage is known to be 100% secure. As a result, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of that information during its transmission or its storage in our systems.
13. Links
If we provide links through our Website or App to third-party websites, add-ins, plug-ins and applications, those links are provided for convenience and may not remain current or be maintained.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of, or any content on, those linked websites (including social media), add-ins, plug-ins or applications, and have no control over or rights in those linked websites, add-ins, plug-ins or applications. The privacy policies that apply to those other websites, add-ins, plug-ins or applications may differ substantially from our Privacy Policy, so we encourage you to read them before using those websites, add-ins, plug-ins or applications.

- Right to know. You have the right to know (i) what categories of PI we are collecting about you and for what purposes, (ii) the sources from whom we obtain PI; (iii) what categories of PI we are sharing and selling and for what purposes, and (iv) the categories of third parties to whom we are sharing or selling. This information is summarized in the table at Section 3. We do not sell any PI for money. We do allow advertising networks to record the fact that you visited our Sites by dropping a cookie on your browser, and they use that fact to target advertising to you on other websites. We share your information in this manner in exchange for information from the ad networks, and you can direct us to stop this disclosure as explained in Section 7 above.
- Right to access. You have the right to request that we disclose to you, in addition to the categories listed immediately above, the specific pieces of PI we collected about you in the past twelve months. If you have an account with us you can log into your account and access the PI we hold about you. You can also request access to the PI that we hold about you using our contact details set out below.
If you believe that the PI we hold about you requires correction (for example, because the information is inaccurate, out-of-date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading), you may request that the information be corrected using our contact details set out below. If you would like for us to completely remove your PI, you can contact us, however we are not required to delete your PI if we have a regulatory, operational or administrative requirement to keep it.
-
Right to delete. You have the right to request that we delete any of the PI that we collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions. You can also delete your account. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request to delete as described in Section 11-F below, we will delete (and direct our service providers to delete) your PI from our records, unless an exception applies. We may deny your deletion request if retaining the information is necessary for us or our service provider(s) to:
- Complete the transaction for which we collected the PI, provide a good or service that you requested, take actions reasonably anticipated within the context of our ongoing business relationship with you, or otherwise perform our contract with you.
- Detect security incidents, protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, or prosecute those responsible for such activities.
- Debug products to identify and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality.
- Exercise free speech, ensure the right of another consumer to exercise their free speech rights, or exercise another right provided for by law.
- Comply with a legal obligation.
- Right to data portability. You have the right to receive a copy of your electronic PI in a readily-usable format.
- Right to opt out of certain sharing with third parties. You have the right to direct us to stop disclosing your PI to third parties for monetary or other consideration. The only such disclosures we make are to advertising networks in exchange for information (not monetary consideration), and you can direct us to stop this disclosure as explained in Section 7 above.
- Exercising access, data portability, and deletion rights. To exercise the access, data portability, and deletion rights described above, please email us at info@jjollyreformer.com. Only you, or a person registered with the California Secretary of State that you authorize to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your PI. You may only make a consumer request for access or data portability twice within a 12-month period. You can also delete your account yourself.
We cannot respond to your request or provide you with PI if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the PI relates to you. Making a verifiable consumer request does not require you to create an account with us. We will only use PI provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor’s identity or authority to make the request.
Non-Discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your state law rights.
